Pino Di Fabbrizio holds a MSEE degree from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy and a Computer Science PhD from the University of Sheffield, UK. He is VUI, Inc. Chief Technology Officer and co-founder. Before VUI, he was a Principal Research Scientist and Group Leader at the Rakuten Institute of Technology in Boston. He was previously a Senior Speech Scientist at Amazon Alexa Science in Cambridge, MA and a Lead Research Scientist at AT&T - Research in Florham Park, NJ.
His research interests and publication topics include machine learning, natural language understanding, natural language generation, conversational agents, opinion mining, sentiment analysis, text summarization, information extraction, information retrieval, multimodal and speech system architectures.
Di Fabbrizio is a member of the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA), the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL), senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society and member of the IEEE Computer Society.
